Statement

In my work, nature and abstraction are inextricably connected. After painting landscapes and botanicals for some time, I’ve arrived at a living, organic abstraction. My recent paintings are not strictly abstractions. They refer to both the dynamic microcosm of nature in cells and molecules and the macrocosm of the universe.
